Gambling - A Christian Crisis    Gambling  A Christian Crisis?  I moved to Las Vegas in July of 1987. It was so hot I started to turn around and go back to my home state. In less than 30 minutes I was dropping nickels in slot machines, digging for my pot of gold. As I look back over those years, I remember the tears and prayers I prayed. I remember the guilt, the rebuke from acquaintances and family members who were disappointed, to say the least, for me losing whole paychecks. I remember the misery of coming home to say “well I’ve blown it again.” And to see the utter pain and frustration on the faces of those whom I loved and cared for was heartbreaking.
