Dominican Thoroughbred Horse Racing    Nestled in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, the Dominican Republic is an independent republic just 2 hours away from Miami. Our proximity to the United States has facilitated the "Americanization" of our racing and breeding and because of this our thoroughbred population has become increasingly North American.  Dominican buyers have gone out in force in recent years in order to obtain the best possible colts and fillies to grace our new state of the art track. During the last 2 years Dominican Republic has led all other countries in number of exported horses of racing age. Most horses purchased come from Florida and Kentucky and more recently Texas and we are often the proving ground for Freshmen stallions in these states.  All this has brought forth a deluge of requests for progeny information and in order to provide it in a global manner we have created this web site.
