Currently, SCD is under review by the Texas Racing Commission and will be participating in an Administrative Hearing, which has now been moved to November 2, 1998 in Austin to discuss their license. At that time, the Administrative Law Judge will render her recommendation to the Texas Racing Commission who will then accept or reject Squaw Creek Downs' license application. There has been significant support by horsemen all over the country that need and want this facility to open. An unbiased survey has been conducted by Opinions Unlimited that states in graphic detail that an overwhelming 74% of Texas horsemen support our facility.
